Approvals

The
Approval panel
is used by the employee to submit their time records after reviewing both the hours reported and any system generated comments. Following the employee's approval, the supervisor and payroll rep will also review and indicate their approval.
Approval Panel

First, click on the "Approval" tab. (Remember that the row of tabs you see will not look exactly like the row shown. It will depend on which time-entry option you are using. If you use Standard Schedule or Non-standard Schedule, you will not see an "In/Out" tab.)

The top section of the Approval panel summarizes your entries for Work (from either the Work panel or the In/Out panel) and Leave hours. You should review this summary and go back to the other panels to make any necessary changes.

The middle section of the Approval panel shows any remarks generated by the system. You should review these remarks; discuss them with your supervisor or payroll rep if necessary. Do not approve your time until you understand and agree with these remarks.
The bottom section of the Approval panel has areas for your approval, your supervisor's approval, and the payroll rep's approval. To approve your entries, click on the "Approve" button. You will be prompted to enter your password. When you approve your entries you are also acknowledging the validity of any remarks on this panel.
